Chococlate Cream Cheese Frosting

Sometimes I bake.

Click "READ MORE" for the recipe!

CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
8 oz (226 grams) cream cheese, room temp *very important*
1/4 cup (57 grams) unsalted butter, room temp *very important*
4 cups (512 grams) sifted confectioner's sugar
1/2 cup (64 grams) cocoa powder

Cream together butter and cream cheese

Slowly add the powdered sugar (add some, mix, add more, mix, etc)

Add cocoa powder last. Mix.

WARNING: It's messy. Like, powdered sugar all over the place messy. I, for some reason, chose to wear all black while making this frosting. It didn't turn out well.

How to pipe:

Use a rubber spatula to put the frosting into a sandwich bag. Cut a SMALL corner off. Voila, you have a disposable frosting pipe. I don't have a reusable one and I don't like doing dishes, so this works out. Sure, there's no fancy frosting action going on, but I don't have to worry about doing a crumb coat or cleaning anything up afterwards!

I made a ton of stuff for a bake sale that was yesterday. Guiding Eyes for the Blind had a fundraiser movie night! There were tons of cute puppies like this little guy:

Pike is 3 months old
The movie that was shown was Puss In Boots. Loved it.
