Oatmeal Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

I'm gearing up for a bake sale this weekend.

My cookies usually turn out some kind of ugly. I'm 90% sure it has to do with the butter being too warm.

Click "READ MORE" for the recipe.

I got this recipe from pintrest, slightly modified.

OATMEAL BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
1.5 cups (340 grams) all purpose flour
.5 teaspoon (2.3 grams) baking soda
1.5 sticks (340 grams) salted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup (114 grams) granulated sugar
1/2 cup (114 grams) light brown sugar
1 egg
1.5 teaspoons (7 grams) vanilla extract
1 medium banana (the older and mushier, the better!)
1 cup (228 grams) oats (NOT quick cooking)
2 cups (450 grams) mini chocolate chips

All of my pictures came out blurry, so no step by step. :(

Preheat oven to 375 F/190 C.

In a small bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda.

In a medium sized bowl, combine sugars and butter. Use an electric mixer (or crazy arm skills) to beat until fluffy.

Add egg & vanilla extract. Mix until combined.

Add banana. Mix until combined.

Add flour mixture. Mix until JUST combined.

At oats and chocolate chips. Stir until just combined.

Grease a pan. Put the mixture in 1.5 inch (3.8 cm) balls on the pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
