CHALLAH FRENCH TOAST
Day old bread, sliced thick
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup almond milk
Pat of butter
Use a fork to whisk together the eggs, honey, and milk.
Dip the slices of bread into the milk and let it sit for 30 seconds on each side.
While the bread is soaking, heat up your skillet. Low/medium.
Fry the bread for a few minutes on each side. The sides should be browned and crispy.
Sprinkle powdered sugar, maple syrup, or jam on top.
I know a lot of recipes call for baking the bread before frying it, but I like to cut out the extra dishes.
